Undergraduate, Transfers, Graduates, and Non-Traditional Students
Choosing a college is an exciting and often bewildering process. We can help you to de-mystify this process and reduce it to manageable steps. Our services include:
-
Helping your child choose a range of colleges
appropriate to his/her skills and interests.
-
Setting up a timetable for the appropriate SAT I and
SAT II exams, as well as any other tests which may be appropriate.
-
Helping setting up a timetable for college visits,
interviews and applications.
-
Providing help with the entire application process.
The responsibility for actual writing of the applications rests with
your son or daughter. We will, however, provide support with the essay
writing process as well as with other aspects of filling out
applications.
-
Proofreading all application materials, provided they
are in our hands at least one week prior to the deadline for their
submission in the Admissions Office.
-
Helping your child set up appointments for
interviews, preparing him/her for what to expect, and how best to
respond in an interview situation.
-
Providing updated information and counseling on
financial aid.
-
Writing a personal recommendation for your son or
daughter if this proves desirable or appropriate.
-
Continuing counseling after April 15th of the senior
year to help with decision making or waiting lists.
-
Counseling for parents on all aspects of the college
admissions process.
-
Counseling for students as often as they need it on
all academic questions or problems which might arise in the college
admissions process.
